Alchemy of the Cursed
|
he Cult of Infernal Necromancy is thousands of years old. Originally founded by the sinister Smogg Azalin on a planet no different then Naboo or Alderaan. In those ancient days, powers of the force were referred to as witchcraft, or sorcery.

The founders of the cult were powerful masters of the undead arts, and continued developing their skills and passing on their knowledge to further generations within the dark circle. Members of the cult were not restricted to users of "magic"; swordsmen, merchants, marksmen, crafters, and scientists created a diverse community all of which dedicated their very spirit for the greatness of the cult.
Necromancy is an understanding of life.. and death. In the ancient times of the cult, the dark lores were practiced far more frequently-at least on this planet. Now more popularly referred to as Alchemy of the Sith, the use of the force to control the energies of life and death is practiced by very few individuals throughout the galaxy. Knowledge of this dark art is sparse, especially of the cult that dissolved for unknown reasons in their 6th generation. The Infernal Necromancer Smogg Azalin disappeared within the passing of time... his death and whereabouts are unknown.
The Cult of Infernal Necromancy has never chosen a side of "light" or "dark", but because of the dark use of the force they are referred to as evil. Presently they do not align with the Sith, nor the Republic. They simply walk a path that allows them to continue their study of forbidden arts, and ultimately achieve the goals led forth by the Leader of the Cult.
Alchemy, or Necromancy are used interchangeably within the galaxy, however most ancient texts refer to the undead lore as forbidden. And so the few scripts that refer to Alchemy will claim that all who use it will become cursed, damned souls. It is true there is a fine line between insanity and genius.
