Rules of the Cult

ules, training and a strict dresscode seperates The Cult of Infernal Necromancy from any other guild. Questioning these rules is forbidden as they have existed for generations and will not change. In most cases breaking rules results in death, however demotion or banishment are worthy punishments.

OOC / RP Behaviour

The Cult of Infernal Necromancy is a strict roleplay(RP) guild. Breaking any of these rules will not be tolerated and may result in severe punishment or banishment from the cult.

  • At no time should a cultist speak out of character(OOC) in a global chat or speechbox, there will be guild channels for OOC talk
  • Stay in Character. Play evil, or better yet, subtle. If you find yourself in a tight situation be creative but stay in character
  • Cultists should never attack without warning and reason. Combat should be last resort.
  • Attacking is allowed if the scene is built up by both players.
  • In general a RP fight should never come as a surprise to the defending player
  • If you do not understand the concept of roleplaying, please contact a senior cultist and they would be happy to help.

Ranking System

There are 9 different ranks, they range from 0 - 8, 0 means you are worth very little, whereas 8 means you are second to the leader.
With each rank comes new functions but also rights within the cult, and powers over lesser ranks :

  • Cultists of ranking value 3 and up can demand respect from those below their own rank.
  • Cultists of ranking value 4 and up can raise questions and issues at cult meetings.
  • Cultists of ranking value 5 and up can take an apprentice/squire/childe of rank 1.
  • Cultists of ranking value 7 and up can expel members of rank 3 and 2.

Voting Rights at Meetings

Cultists of rank 4 and up have voting rights, and can call for majority votes on cult decisions at cult meetings. Votes to change fundamental parts of the cult must have 2/3 majority and approval of the cult leader.

Primus Privilege

The first Cultist to reach rank A within his path can claim the Title of Primus. The Primus has full control of his path and can expel members from his house, prevent joining, place special demands on advancement, make detailed rules within the house, that does not break the general cult rules and so on.

Rules of Uniform

Colors of the Cult are black and dark blue. Wearing colors of the Cult is mandatory in any case, for it is a proof of your pride to be a cultist.

The genuine black and blue worn by cultists must be precise, if you are unaware of the exact hues please ask a senior member and they will assist you.

Colors, which may be similar shades of blue and grays may be tolerated in your clothing(as a whole), but other colors (red, green, white...) are not.
